By accessing or using Documenter AI's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Documenter AI provides an AI-powered enterprise platform for document management, compliance automation, and business process automation. Our services include document intelligence, AI copilots, workflow automation, and related features as described on our website.

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into this agreement

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our services
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
• Use our services to process data in violation of privacy laws

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to our platform. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing our services. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for training our AI models without your explicit consent.

6. Payment Terms

For paid services:

• Fees are as quoted in your service agreement or order form
• Payment is due according to the agreed billing cycle
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• We may suspend services for overdue payments
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice

7. Intellectual Property

Documenter AI and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in our services, including software, algorithms, trademarks, and documentation. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited license to use our services.

8. Data Protection

We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. For enterprise customers, we offer data processing agreements (DPAs) upon request.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. For enterprise customers, specific SLAs may be included in your service agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Documenter AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Documenter AI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your content, or your violation of these terms.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violation of these terms. Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
